BELIEFS
THOUGHT FOR THE MONTH
I believe waking every morning with a smile.
I believe in giving every person the benefit of the doubt.
I believe every person should take the responsibility for their own actions.
I believe laughter is music!
I believe people who smoke should not benefit from that action.....it was their decision. There have been warnings about smoking for years...just look on a package of cigarettes.
I believe the alcohol industry is hurting us more than the tobacco industry.....yet who is going after them. Why shouldn't we take them to court for killing our youth (alcohol poisoning), suicide (having a bottle of whiskey beside you which causes depression), drunk drivers (running over people, auto accidents) and last but not least health issues: alcoholism, heart failure, liver damage and other illnesses. Why don't they take the advertisements off television for alcoholic beverages, they did it for the tobacco industry?
I believe music warms the soul.
I believe a smile and a friendly "hello" from a stranger is a gift to be treasured. The gesture just might make their day as well as yours!
I believe friends are sunshine which warms our hearts!

My thoughts are with the service men and women in Iraq for a war they are fighting for vengeance for George W. Bush, President of the United States. Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord. We need to separate church from state as our forefathers declared. We are trampling all over our roots as a nation to give in to pressure gruops who think they have all the nations and who believe they have a right to decide what's best for us all. We are losing our sense of "right" and "wrong"! Although I am not a religious person I do believe the Bible gives us all on this planet a "framework" for living. For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son to die for us.
As far as the Passion of the Christ, no one is to blame for Christ's death upon the cross, it was preordained by a greater power. Everyone is so quick to point a finger, do you think that's the problem!
